THE DUMPSTER WILL ARRIVE FRIDAY, AUGUST 30TH, AND WILL BE LOCATED ACROSS FROM BUCKLEYS (2171 IDLEWILD DR) UNTIL IT’S FULL (WHICH USUALLY DOESN’T TAKE TOO LONG!).
PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
- NO YARD WASTE
- NO LIQUIDS
- NO BATTERIES OR TIRES
- NO ITEMS CONTAINING FREON
- NO LEAD-BASED PAINT
- NO TOXIC, CORROSIVE OR FLAMMABLE WASTE
- NO BROKEN CONCRETE
- DO NOT FILL ABOVE THE EDGE OF THE CONTAINER
- DO NOT LEAVE LITTER ON THE GROUND NEXT TO THE DUMPSTER!!!!
GLQO Annual Meeting Tuesday, August 13th
Our friends over at the Gull Lake Quality Organization will be holding their Annual Meeting on Tuesday, August 13th, at 7:00PM at the Richland Area Community Center (this is the one on CD Ave., not the white Community Hall downtown). Come hear what the GLQO has been up to, meet some of your fellow Watershed and Gull Lake residents, and hear about the Marine Patrol, invasive species, groundwater withdrawal threats, and other topical issues.
Crime Report – Robbery Last Week up on Littlefield
This is the neighborhood right next to ours – this was seen on the Gull Vista Facebook page today:
Burglary: Last week a home was burglarized on Littlefield. The break in likely occurred at night late in the week. No one was hurt. Thieves seemed to have knowledge of the home & schedules, etc. Police are involved. Please report to Silent Observer any info you may have.
